GHOST IN THE SHELL 2015 FUI
All of the Ghost in the Shell Animated Series are a constant source of inspiration to me. The duality within cyborg-human hybrids blurs the line between our consciousness and a new singularity . I wanted to create a first person Fake User Interface for the lead character, Motoko Kusangi, in the 2015 Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie. In this specific scene Motoko Kusangi is accessing the memory of another cyborg-human hybrid. To embody this interaction I wanted to juxtapose organic forms with cybernetic patterns. This blended the human nature or "ghost" within our characters, yet preserved the virtual realm that they live in.
