THE WEEKND COACHELLA 2018
Working with Strangeloop Studios on the Weeknd's 2018 Coachella performance was one of the most rewarding experiences for me. The opportunity to create animations for Es Devlin's Stage Sculpture, and the monumental Coachella Main stage made this project one of the most memorable. Creative director Lamar Taylor and Es Devlin had a clear vision of an Afro Futurist exposition that we were able to bring to life. At Strangeloop Studios we aimed to manifest the The Weeknd's music into a gritty aesthetic and focused color palette. Once combined together these elements made this a once in a lifetime performance.
